Four is a number of importance in the Native American beliefs.  The Medicine Wheel is a Sacred symbol that represents directions, colors and characteristics.  It is said that you should go into each one of these every day to create a balanced life.

East: Red, Spiritual, Seeing the Future, Understanding

South: White, Physical, Death and Rebirth, Innocence, Destiny

West: Black, Emotional, Introspection, Renewal, Mystery
